WhatsApp announces 3 new features including 'Account Protect'

WhatsApp has announced three additional security features - 'Account Protect', 'Device Verification' and 'Automatic Security Codes'. Under the 'Account Protect' feature, WhatsApp may ask users who are switching their WhatsApp accounts to a new device to reconfirm if they are taking the step, on their old device. WhatsApp is also adding more checks to help authenticate accounts.
