WhatsApp desktop version may soon work without internet on phone

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a desktop version to allow users to use it on a computer without having to connect phones to the internet. WhatsApp Web was launched in 2015, which requires phones to be connected to the internet. The platform is also reportedly working to let users login on more than one device with the same account.
