WhatsApp has launched a dedicated app for Apple CarPlay, allowing users to access chats, make calls and interact with contacts from the car's display. The redesigned app replaces earlier limited voice-based access via Siri while restricting full chat threads during driving for safety reasons. It features three tabs, including chat list, call history and favourite contacts.
