WhatsApp may soon introduce notification bubbles feature: Report

WhatsApp is testing Android’s notification bubbles feature, which may be introduced soon, allowing chats to appear as floating icons for quick access, WABetaInfo reported. The update will let users read and reply to messages without opening the app fully, improving multitasking. WhatsApp is also expected to replace the app name with its official logo, which has remained unchanged since 2013.
