WhatsApp may soon let users chat with AI bots directly

WhatsApp is testing a feature that could let users add third-party AI agents and bots directly to the messaging app. Each agent may get its own chat, allowing users to interact with AI services without leaving WhatsApp, with the feature currently being tested by select Android users. Users could name agents, add profile pictures and connect up to five agents.
