WhatsApp may soon let users create custom status lists: Report

WABetaInfo reported that WhatsApp is developing a 'Status lists' feature, allowing users to create custom lists for sharing updates, similar to Instagram’s 'Close Friends'. Currently, status privacy is limited to options like 'My Contacts,' 'My contacts except', or 'Only Share With'. The new feature may enable multiple customised lists for friends, or family, enhancing control over its visibility.
