WhatsApp tests 'Vacation Mode' feature to mute archived chats: Reports

Facebook-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly testing a feature that will help users ignore archived chats completely. 'Vacation Mode', previously known as ‘Ignore Archived Chats', will keep archived chats hidden irrespective of a new message. An archived chat is pushed to the bottom of the messages stack currently, but comes back up when a new message is received.
