WhatsApp to allow chat history transfers between iOS and Android

WhatsApp has announced a feature that will soon allow users to transfer their entire chat history, including photos, between iOS and Android phones. The long-rumoured feature will initially cover transfers from iOS to Samsung's new foldable phones and other Samsung phones "in the coming weeks", WhatsApp said. The feature will transfer chat histories using a physical Lightning to USB-C cable.
