WhatsApp to let users filter archived and locked chats: Report

WaBetaInfo reported that WhatsApp is working on a new filter that will let users access archived chats directly from the Chats tab, replacing the separate archived section at the top. The update aims to make navigation simpler and more organised. WhatsApp is also developing a dedicated filter for locked chats, which are protected using Face ID, or a device passcode.
