WhatsApp to let users join calls without accounts: Report

WhatsApp is developing "guest calls", a feature that will let users invite people without WhatsApp accounts to join calls through a web link, without installing the app. Hosts will be able to approve each guest before they join. Guest calls will also use end-to-end encryption, ensuring the content of conversations remains protected and cannot be accessed by WhatsApp.
