WhatsApp to let users make audio, video calls through web browser

WhatsApp has enabled direct one-on-one and group audio and video calling from WhatsApp Web, removing the need to download its desktop app. Features such as screen sharing, reactions and a dedicated Calls tab with call history will also be available for browser-based calls. Users can also transfer calls from their mobile device to WhatsApp Web.
