WhatsApp users unable to see 'Last Seen', 'Online', 'is typing' for 5 hrs due to glitch

WhatsApp suffered glitch for over five hours as users reported facing issues with their privacy settings and complained that 'Last Seen', 'Online' and '...is typing' features weren't visible. Several users said their privacy settings had automatically switched to 'None'. Online outage tracker DownDetector said WhatsApp began having issues from 8:34 pm IST on Friday till around 2 am on Saturday.
