WhatsApp's India grievance officer quits in less than 6 months

Advocate Paresh B Lal, who was appointed as WhatsApp's Grievance and Nodal Officer, under India's new IT rules, has quit in less than six months since his appointment. Varun Lamba, a partner at AZB & Partners, has taken up an interim role. According to WhatsApp's website, reports that go to the grievance cell will now be addressed by Lamba.
