Wheat procurement for RMS 2024-25 surpasses last year’s total

Wheat procurement for RMS 2024-25 has reached 262.48 LMT, surpassing last year's total and benefiting 22.31 lakh farmers with an MSP outflow of ₹59,715 crores. Major contributions came from Punjab, Haryana, and other states. Combined wheat and rice stocks now exceed 600 LMT, ensuring ample supply for welfare schemes and market needs.
