When can someone make partial withdrawals from their EPF?

An EPF member can make partial withdrawals from their funds as long as they withdraw a minimum of ₹1,000 and maintain the required minimum balance. A member can make partial withdrawals for medical treatment for themselves or family members, for educational purposes, and for marriage purposes. Members can also partially withdraw from EPF for housing purposes and in special circumstances.
