'When rape is inevitable, lie down & enjoy,' Cong MLA says in K'taka Assembly; criticised

During a Karnataka Assembly session, Congress MLA Ramesh Kumar was heard telling Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, "There is a saying, 'When rape is inevitable, lie down and enjoy it'. That's the position into which you are." Kageri could be seen laughing at the MLA's remarks. The MLA is being criticised for his remark, with people accusing him of trivialising rape.
