When Ratan Tata revealed that he 'almost got married'

Ratan Tata remained unmarried after a relationship in Los Angeles ended when his girlfriend couldn’t move to India due to the 1962 Indo-China war. Speaking to Humans of Bombay in 2020, he said he "almost got married" but then returned to India to care for his ailing grandmother. He added that "the relationship fell apart".
