When was the last time India played two men's international cricket matches on same day?

India will field two senior men's cricket teams on the same day for the first time in 28 years on Saturday. The last instance came on September 12, 1998, when Mohammad Azharuddin-led India faced Pakistan in Sahara Cup in Toronto, while Ajay Jadeja-led India played Canada at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. India won both matches that day.
