Where is the farthest object ever made by humans now?

NASA's Voyager 1, launched 49 years ago on September 5, 1977, is now travelling through interstellar space and remains the farthest human-made object from Earth. It is approaching a distance of one light-day, or 25.902 billion km, from Earth, a milestone it will reach in November. Voyager 1 crossed into interstellar space in August 2012 and remains operational, NASA said.
