Where will India get the invisible hydrogen to run its 1st hydrogen train?
Hydrogen, which we can't see, will be produced at the green hydrogen plant through electrolysis (by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using electricity). Then, hydrogen will be safely stored in storage tanks with nearly 3,000 kg capacity at India's largest railway hydrogen refuelling facility in Haryana's Jind. Finally, the hydrogen will be transferred to power cars on the train.
