The United States remains the world's most powerful nation, according to a ranking model devised by BAV Group, researchers led by Professor David Reibstein from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and US News & World Report. China held the second spot in the list, followed by Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, South Korea, France and Japan.
