The IMD has released a list of cities that reported the highest maximum temperature on Monday. Rajasthan's Kota recorded the maximum temperature of 43.1°C, highest in the country. This is followed by Jodhpur (43°C), Jhansi (42.8°C), Deesa (42.8°C), Jaisalmer (42.5°C), Ahmedabad (42.4°C), Surendranagar (42.3°C), Bhiwani (42.3°C), Rajkot (42°C), Agra (42°C) and Gwalior (42°C).
