New York has topped the inaugural Global Cities Index of the world's 1,000 largest urban economies released by Oxford Economics. New York is followed by London, San Jose, Tokyo, Paris, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Melbourne and Zurich on the list. Indian cities Delhi (350), Bengaluru (411), Mumbai (427) and Chennai (472) made it to the top 500 cities.
