Cost of raising children in China is over 6 times its per capita GDP

China is one of the world's most expensive place to raise a child, Chinese think tank YuWa Population Research Institute has revealed. The cost of raising a child until they are 18, relative to per capita GDP, is around 6.3 times in China, 4.26 times in Japan, 4.11 times in US, 2.24 times in France and 2.08 times in Australia.
