Russia with 7,300 warheads has the most number of nuclear weapons in the world while only 9 countries are believed to possess such weapons. The US comes at second position with around 6,970 nuclear weapons. Reportedly, US President-elect Donald Trump recently said that let there be a nuclear arms race, and the US will "outmatch" and "outlast" other countries.
