Which demands have employees made from Pay Commission which may hike salaries by 10%/year?

Employee unions have sought an increase in annual increments from 3% to 6%, and up to a 3x hike in rent, transport and other allowances, ET Now reported. This may effectively increase government employees' salaries by 10% every year. They've also sought a change in how salaries are calculated and an update of the cost-of-living formula, India Today reported.
