American software giant Oracle has reportedly begun laying off 30,000 employees globally and 12,000 in India. The job cuts were not performance-based. They heavily affected engineering, software development, product management, and customer support roles, particularly within the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) divisions, according to a BBC report.
