Which Indian products have been protected under interim US trade deal?
India has fully protected sensitive agriculture and dairy products under the interim trade deal with US. Vegetables, spices, and crops like wheat, rice and maize wouldn't be imported from US. This has also been applied to poultry, meat and dairy products like milk, yoghurt, butter, ghee, cheese (mozzarella, blue-veined, grated, powdered) and paneer. Soya, ethanol and tobacco also protected.
