Which major tech companies have announced layoffs in 2022?
Meta, which fired over 11,000 employees, is the latest among major tech companies to announce layoffs this year. Earlier, Twitter's new owner Elon Musk fired about 3,700 employees, and in October, Microsoft reportedly cut nearly 1,000 jobs. Salesforce cut hundreds of jobs, Lyft cut 700 jobs, Stripe fired 1,100 employees, Netflix fired 450 employees, and Snap laid off 1,000 employees.
