Which sectors were the biggest losers as Sensex tumbled over 1,000 points?

The realty sector stocks were the biggest losers on BSE as Sensex crashed over 1,000 points on Tuesday to close near 82,000. BSE Realty index tumbled 5.21% while BSE Services index fell 2.89%, BSE Capital Goods fell 2.76%, and BSE Consumer Discretionary dipped 2.73%. BSE Consumer Durables fell 2.71%, BSE Industrials was down 2.56% while BSE Telecommunication tumbled 2.42%.
