Which sports personalities have been conferred with Padma Awards this year?

Three sports personalities have been conferred with Padma Shri Awards this year. They are Kalarippayattu veteran SRD Prasad Gurukkal of Kerala, Thang-Ta coach K Shanathoiba Sharma of Manipur and cricket coach Gurcharan Singh of Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday approved the conferment of a total of 106 Padma Awards.
