Maharashtra has the highest number of registered stock market investors at over 3.34 crore, according to BSE data. It is followed by Uttar Pradesh with 1.96 crore active investors and Gujarat with 1.67 crore investors. Rajasthan has 1.07 crore investors, while West Bengal has 1.01 crore investors.
