Which states have the most men & women who consume alcohol?

Arunachal Pradesh has the most (50.5%) men (aged 15 and above) who consume alcohol, followed by Telangana (43.9%), Sikkim (42.2%), Chhattisgarh (38.3%) and Jharkhand (33.6%), according to the latest National Family Health Survey (NFHS-6) 2023-24. Most women (aged 15 and above) who consume alcohol are in Arunachal Pradesh (23.2%), Sikkim (19.9%), Telangana (7.1%), Tripura (6.0%) and Assam (5.8%).
