Which states recorded the highest number of road accidents last year?
Tamil Nadu recorded the highest number of road accidents last year at 64,105, followed by Madhya Pradesh (54,432), Kerala (43,910), UP (41,746) and Karnataka (39,762), according to a report released by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Maharashtra reported 33,383 accidents, followed by Rajasthan (23,614), Telangana (21,619), Andhra Pradesh (21,249) and Gujarat (15,751).
