Which states reported the most economic offences in India in 2024?

Telangana reported 39,127 economic offences in 2024, which is the highest in the country, according to data released by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). This was followed by Rajasthan and Maharashtra, which recorded 27,637 and 20,083 respectively. Lakshadweep recorded 12 economic offence cases, which is the lowest in the country, followed by 13 in Ladakh.
