Markets continued to fall for the fifth straight session on Thursday, with Sensex ending 0.14% lower at 80,039.80 and Nifty ending 0.03% lower at 24,406.10. Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro, Sun Pharmaceutical and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the top gainers. Axis Bank, Nestle India, ICICI Bank, Titan and Tata Steel were among the top losers.
