Which stocks were top gainers & losers on first day of 2025?

Maruti Suzuki, M&M, Bajaj Finance, L&T and Tata Motors were the top gainers on Sensex while Tata Steel, Adani Ports, Zomato, HCLTech and SBI were the top losers on January 1, 2025. Sensex ended 368 points higher at 78,507. Bajaj Finance and Eicher Motors were among top Nifty gainers, while Hindalco, Dr Reddys Labs and ONGC were top Nifty losers.
