Which vehicles face LGV registration curbs from January 2027?

From January 2027, buyers registering new Light Goods Vehicles (LGVs) in Delhi-NCR will face phased curbs on petrol, diesel and, in some areas, CNG vehicles under CAQM directions. The rules target new registrations based on vehicle type, weight and location to reduce vehicular emissions. Existing LGVs are not automatically banned and will continue under applicable age, pollution and entry rules.
