Phalodi in Rajasthan was the hottest Indian city on Saturday (May 25) as it recorded highest maximum temperature of 50°C, as per the IMD. Barmer was the second hottest city at 48.8°C, followed by Jaisalmer (48°C), Bikaner (47.2°C), and Churu (47°C). Meanwhile, Najafgarh in Delhi recorded 46.8°C, Punjab's Amritsar witnessed 43.4°C, and Khargone and Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh recorded 45.5°C.
