White dwarf star with two rings of planetary debris found

Astronomers studying a white dwarf located around 1,600 light-years from Earth have discovered two separate rings of gaseous planetary debris surrounding it. The rings, divided by a gap, appear to have remained stable for over two years. Researchers believe two surviving planetary bodies embedded in the rings may maintain the structure, with one potentially as large as Pluto or Moon.
