White House appoints Beni Harmony as Assistant Press Sec'y after Leavitt's exit

The White House has appointed Beni Rae Harmony, a 24-year-old reporter, as a spokesperson and assistant press secretary following Karoline Leavitt's exit as Press Secretary. Leavitt announced her planned departure on August 12, 2026, to spend more time with her family. Notably, Harmony also travelled with US President Trump to Ireland during his two day visit in September.
