White House appoints Indian-American Maju Varghese as WHMO Director

Indian-American Maju Varghese, who recently served as Senior Advisor on US President Joe Biden's campaign, was on Tuesday appointed as Director of the White House Military Office. He'll now oversee military operations aboard Air Force One on Presidential missions worldwide. Maju, the son of immigrant parents from Kerala, also served as Executive Director of the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
