The White House was on Friday lit up in rainbow-coloured lights to celebrate the US Supreme Court's judgement that legalized same-sex marriage across the country. Applauding the ruling, President Barack Obama said, "Today, we can say... that we have made our union a little more perfect". The Empire State Building and Freedom Tower were also lit up with rainbow lights.
