White House officials are investigating possible insider links after anonymous traders made over $600,000 (₹5.7 crore) by betting on the US-Iran ceasefire in April, the WSJ reported. In March, a memo barred staff from using non-public information for personal gain. However, identifying any leak remains difficult because prediction market app Polymarket allows anonymous trading.
