White population in US shrinks for the 1st time in history, 2020 Census data shows

The white population in US has shrunk for the first time in history last decade with increase among people who identify as multi-racial, Hispanic and Asian, according to US' 2020 Census data. The white-alone population now accounts for 57.8% of the US population. People identifying as multi-racial increased by 276%, from 9 million in 2010 to 33.8 million in 2020.
