WHO & Ayush move to globalise traditional medicine standards

The WHO and India's Ministry of Ayush held a high-level meeting in New Delhi to integrate traditional medicine into the International Classification of Health Interventions (ICHI). Focusing on Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani, this initiative aims to standardise global documentation, enhance research, improve policy planning, and promote safe, evidence-based use of traditional therapies worldwide.
