Ukraine was the world's largest importer of major arms during 2020-24, followed by India, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Japan, Australia, Egypt, the US and Kuwait, a new report by global think-tank SIPRI said. The US was the largest exporter of major arms during 2020-24, followed by France, Russia, China, Germany, Italy, the UK, Israel, Spain and South Korea.
