As many as seven women ministers took oath in the new government led by PM Narendra Modi. The female ministers include Nirmala Sitharaman, Annapurna Devi, Anupriya Patel, Shobha Karandlaje, Savitri Thakur, Raksha Khadse and Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to the prime minister and the other ministers.
