Who is 53-year-old AIMIM leader Waris Pathan, who has fought Salman's case?

AIMIM leader Waris Pathan grew up in Mumbai's Bandra and is the son of a Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) judge. A lawyer by training, he has also represented actor Salman Khan in the past and defended Muslim youth arrested in connection with Azad Maidan riots. The 53-year-old had won the Byculla seat in 2014 Maharashtra Assembly polls.
