Billionaire George Soros has handed over control of his $25 billion empire to his son Alex Soros. Alex, 37, is the second-youngest of Soros' five children and has graduated with a PhD in history from University of California, Berkeley. He joined Open Society Foundations (OSF) full-time in 2015 and replaced his father George as Chairman of the board last December.
